Halcyon Strategies is a premier full-service education concierge committed to helping children and young adults achieve their dreams.  Just as our name describes, our goal is to guide each student through self-discovery and development of life skills, so they may grow to become top leaders and producers while maintaining a happy and balanced life.

 

About Our Founder

 

Helen Tsai is an educational consultant who specializes in admissions to top universities in the United States, including Ivy League schools.  Ms. Tsai attended the International School of Bangkok, where her father was the Vice-Chairman of the school board and Chairman of the Education Committee.  As a result Ms. Tsai has a deep understanding of the difficulties international students face when considering studying in the United States.  

 

After just two years of high school, Ms. Tsai graduated early and attended Stanford University, from which she graduated with honors.  She then went on to law school and passed the rigorous California Bar Exam to become a trial attorney, specializing in government cases.  A few years later, Ms. Tsai became the Chief Legal Officer of the world's leading semiconductor distributor in Silicon Valley.  She was also later appointed as Vice-President of one of its subsidiaries.  

 

Ms. Tsai is deeply passionate about improving education standards across the world. Even while in middle school, she took on tutoring jobs, and while in law school, she worked as a mentor and tutor to the underserved community.  She firmly believes that a well-educated society is the key to a sustainable and successful future.  As such, she now focuses on helping young students to fully realize their potential and become strong innovators and leaders of the future.
